Project 2×1 is a documentary shot on Google Glass that explores the Hasidic and West Indian communities in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Crown Heights. By using Google Glass, the filmmakers were less intrusive than a film crew and were able to get unprecedented access to rituals such as weddings and local barbecues. The documentary was also a collaborative narrative told through the community members’ eyes who were able to wear the device and record from their perspective.
