The company — which started as an Amsterdam-based film sales agent and expanded into distribution, financing and production with offices world-wide — has been at the forefront of bringing Asian independent movies, including Wong Kar-wai’s “In the Mood for Love” (2001) and Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s “Syndromes and a Century” (2006), to the rest of the world.
