USC, YouTube To Offer Online Filmmaking Courses

From the hilariously-catchy “Bed Intruder Song” to the first Oscar-worthy Roger Ebert-endorsed “Man In A Blizzard”, video sharing website YouTube has quickly become the latest training ground for would-be filmmakers to have their work seen by the world.

Now the Google-owned company is partnering with USC to launch a new media program series for aspiring digital filmmakers.

The website announced Thursday it would team up with University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts to launch the YouTube Creator Institute.
