What are some of your favorite Film Noir movies?

I’m a big Film Noir fan and I just want to know what some of your favorite Film Noir movies are.

Here are five of mine:

1. Double Indemnity (1944)

2. Touch of Evil (1958)

3. The Third Man (1949)

4. The Maltese Falcon (1941)

5. Night and the City (1950)

I’m not an expert on the genre but I’d also add Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train (1951) and the requisite Sunset Blvd. (1950)

- DOA
- Sunset Blvd.
- The Big Sleep
- Notorious

Chinatown (1974)
Blade Runner (1982) -techno noir, maybe
