Exclusive Interview: 1-1 With “Paranormal Activity” Director Oren Peli

“Paranormal Activity  is the little indy that not only could, it did. With word of mouth quickly spreading, it became an overnight success going from limited midnight showings to being blasted into almost every theater in the country within a matter of weeks. With a production budget no more than around five seconds of Avatar footage, Paranormal has already grossed over $40 million dollars.

We had a chance to sit down with the director, Oren Peli, and talk about the film’s success, the marketing campaign to get it into every theater imaginable, if ghosts really exist, and we see if we can squeeze any info out of him on his newest project, Area 51.”
